Responding to a declared wish of its visitors, the Essl Museum will mount another exhibition
of its permanent collection, which will open in the summer of 2008. Displayed on the seven
galleries, works from the Essl holdings will enter into ever new and inspiring dialogues. New
acquisitions and classics will add up to a cross-section of the largest Austrian private
collection of international contemporary art. The exhibition will be curated by the collector
Karlheinz Essl.

The collection of international contemporanean art of Agnes and Karlheinz Essl consisting of 5.000 works offers a view on the art of the 20th and the beginning 21st centuries.
