Rebecca Horn. - Luci mie traditrici

Following the successful cooperation with the Salzburg Festival in the previous season, a new project now follows in 2008. This show is based on the oeuvre of the German sculptor, performance artist and filmmaker Rebecca Horn, who is responsible for stage design and costumes for the opera “Luci mie traditrici” by Salvatore Sciarrino this year.
The artist’s work, which comprises installations, performances, sculptural room installations, kinetic objects, poetic texts, films and drawings, is often on the borderline between different genres of art. Rebecca Horn has won international recognition as one of the most renowned German female artists.

The Museum der Moderne has two buildings: The Rupertinum in the old part of the city and the Museum der Moderne on the Mönchsberg.
