Karl Geiser. Photografies

Karl Geiser, one of the most renowned Swiss sculptors of the 20th century, not only created sculptures and drawings, but also thousands of photographies. His pictures show an intensive and affectionate glance at people that fascinated him – in his studio or in the street.
The artist’s photographs from the Fotostiftung Schweiz (Swiss Foundation of Photography) are complemented by some of Geiser’s sculptures on loan to the museum.

Description of the Museum

The collections of the Museum der Moderne Salzburg Rupertinum are dedicated to painting, sculpture, graphic and photography (focus: art of the 20th century).

A special focus is the communication of art to young visitors.
