The heroic deeds of the marionette: In commemoration of the 200th birthday of Franz Count Pocci

The father of the famous marionette "Kasperl", Franz Count Pocci was born 200 years ago in 1807. In a small studio exhibition, the reception of Pocci's literary work mirrored in the puppetry of the first half of the 20th century is reviewed. The graphic work and drawings of Pocci on display relate to the often ironic, late romantic stage scenery in the puppet plays.
