Opening HoursMonday-Sunday 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.30 , (November through February opened only on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. 30).Description of the MuseumThe Museum is dedicated to the German writer Hermann Hesse who lived in Montagnola until his death. The Museum holds precious remanants of the last 43 years of the writers life. The writer, artist and poet lived in Montagnola from 1919 until 1962, the year of his death. He wrote there some of his most important works. |
