Description of the Museum

The Rosengart Collection is the most recent museum in Lucerne. It owes its importance to two unique groups of works by Paul Klee and Pablo Picasso.

The museum also houses important works by over 20 masters of the 19th and 20th centuries, including Cézanne, Monet, Matisse, Braque, Léger and Miró.

The Rosengart Collection is on display in the former Swiss National Bank building. Reconstructed in 2000-2001; architects: Diener & Diener
