The corridor as display // Three corridor pieces

This year for the first time the Museum of Contemporary Art is showing its collection on a wider scale. The main emphasis here will be on the history of the collection. The collection itself is not that old, but the individual works collected are often older. Who collects what, and for what reasons' The Sachsen LB [Federal State Bank of Saxony], a long-standing partner of the museum, is supporting this presentation from the collection of the GfZK. This was how the calendar ‘Die Sammlung’ [‘The Collection’] was created in 2007, including works from both the Federal State Bank and the GfZK.
