Description of the Museum

The museum has four collection groups: older fine arts of Europe (Landesgalerie), Natural History with Vivarium, prehistory and Ethnology

Apart from the main building of the museum the Forum des Landesmuseums (Am Markte 8, in front of the market church) is part of it too and some exhibitions are shown there
