Fernando Sanchez Castillo

This will be the première in Switzerland of FERNANDO SÁNCHEZ CASTILLO, a Spanish
artist who forms part of a new generation of practitioners rapidly gaining international
recognition. His work studies the relation between art and power, between public space
and collective memory. The artist makes reference to the canons of history painting, the
monument and the documentary, in the form of sculpture, video, text and
performances.
