Eye-opening: Young Fashion Design from Maastricht and Rotterdam

The works by the graduates and students of the Academie Beeldende Kunsten, Maastricht, and the Willem de Kooning Academie, Hogeschool Rotterdam, in a word: convincing. Here inventiveness, versatility and technical skill play the leading roles. From haute couture to prêt à porter, from art to commerce - this multifaceted exhibition sheds light on fashion design training from every angle. On the occasion of “Koninginnedag” - the Dutch national holiday - the consulate general of the Netherlands will be cooperating with the Museum für Angewandte Kunst Frankfurt to show the quality of young Dutch fashion designers in Frankfurt. The days of wooden clogs and Vrouw Antjes are over.
