Zhou Jun - a contemporary Chinese artist of pen and ink drawings

The Museum of East Asian Art presents for the first time in Europe Zhou Jun (*1955), an outstanding contemporary representative of modern art in the Chinese style. The artist has lived in the Netherlands since 1989 and uses the traditional media of pen, ink and paper to create his masterly works. The exhibition presents roughly 100 works of traditional figure, flower, bird and landscape drawings and provides an insight into the development of the artist from the 1980s to the present day.

It opened 1913 as the first specialized museum of his kind in Germany.
