Description of the Museum

The art collections in Böttcherstrasse include the most significant works by Paula Becker- Modersohn, Heinrich Vogeler, Bernhard Hoetger and others whose previously unrecognised work now has an international reputation.

The unique buidling is a chief work of german expressionist architecture.
