Zhù Yi! Chinese Contemporary Photography

ZHÙ YI, a word taken from Mandarin Chinese, focuses on its most literal meaning, "watch out", with the aim of letting us know about how young Chinese artists regard their cities, what they miss in them, what has influenced them, what concerns them, their dreams… ZHÙ YI! Chinese Contemporary Photography is an invitation to discover the "new" China through a selection of 120 works created during the period 1994-2006 by the 33 artists whose oeuvre is included in this exhibition.
